eNews Term 1 Issue 5

Dear Sha Tin Junior Community,

Thank you. It has been wonderful for the school to return to normal this last week. We missed our students and were very glad to be able to send off Year 6 and Year 5 to camp successfully. Staff spent time during the closure working on our whole school approaches to learning and curriculum rationale.

This morning I had the opportunity to share in the Year 1 Learning Journey and I would like to thank Miss Hedges and the Year 1 team for all the organization and also to Mr. Coyle for his support. I hope our Year 1 parents enjoyed their time in school.

The next two weeks are going to be busy in school and we plan to make the most of them. I am very much looking forward to our Winter Music Concert on the 12 December 2019.

Thank you again for your ongoing support to SJS and to us as a teaching team. We are very proud to work alongside you to support and challenge your children’s learning ‘to be all they can be!’

With best wishes,

Rehana Shanks
Principal
